Wow! This school year seems to have gone by faster than usual. We are approaching graduation time as the summer weather has found its place once again. Please join us for the annual CHEH graduation as this is our largest graduating class that we can recall. This will be such a special time for the graduates and their families, and they would like you to celebrate with them.

Also please make a special effort to attend our end of year picnic. We will be voting on the chairman position and seeking volunteers for other positions as well. CHEH will only continue to be a great organization as long as we have great members that step up and volunteer to serve. Pray about your part in this.

Let us (Greg and Phyllis) say thank you for allowing us to serve in the chairman position for 3 years. It has been an honor to work with so many of you and learn with you as well. Our prayer is that CHEH will continue to be THE conservative homeschool support group for Hattiesburg for many years to come. Since we still have a few more years of homeschooling, we hope to continue to serve CHEH in some capacity.

We hope you all have a fun, safe, and blessed summer.

Serving Him!

Due to the fact that things in our lives have been far from boring lately, our minds are racing and somewhat stressed. Therefore, we will veer from our usually lengthy column and simply ask that you read your entire newsletter, paying special attention to the legislative update by MHEA on the Tim Tebow Bill and similar Equal Access bills.  Prayer and perseverance are vital.   Serving Him! Greg & Phyllis Chancellor

Please print out page 8 of your newsletter and post on your refrigerator or mirror to remind yourself of CHEH events for March and April.  Be sure to RSVP on time if you plan on participating in any event.  Check your email regularly for any updates (primarily youth loop).

Hebrews 12:1-2 (NKJV):

“Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

Happy 2015 to you and yours! We hope your Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays were happy special times spent with family and loved ones.

As we start this new year, let us make it a priority to put God at the front and center of our days. Let Him guide our school days with our children and our time at work, at church, and with friends and family.

As usual, the newsletter has lots of information about upcoming events. Martha does such a wonderful job getting all the information to us. Let’s remember to print that newsletter and read those emails. Please try to be prompt in reading and replying to emails as necessary since that is so helpful to those who plan events. We appreciate it when you reply in a timely manner!!!
