School is back in full swing at our house, and I assume the same is true for many of you. CHEH had a wonderful kick-off meeting with many new families in attendance, and we look forward to getting to know those that have joined this year. Let me encourage you to participate in as many CHEH events as possible. It is always so uplifting for both children and parents to be around other homeschooling families and to make new friendships. Our coordinators put a good deal of time into planning the events and it is certainly encouraging to them when there is a good turnout.

Martha Wedgeworth works hard to put together our newsletter, so please be sure to print it and read it. Please RSVP for events when asked to do so. Also when we send out emails, please read them. We try not to overload you with emails but that is the way we communicate with our membership. Texting is very popular with most folks, however we are sorry to say that texting just will not work for our group—so please try to check your email frequently. Speaking of the newsletter, if our members have something to advertise on the Community Bulletin Board Page, please email that to chancellorg@bellsouth.net.

Moms should make a special effort to attend our Mom’s Workshop. It is always a wonderful time of information, encouragement, fellowship, and of course, good food. Dads, be on the lookout for an event planned for you. We will send out that information by way of email if we don’t send another newsletter before the time of the event.

We want you, our members, to let us know when you have a life event that we can help you with. Our ministry team would like to bring a meal when there is a new baby, hospitalization of an immediate family member, or death of a member or grandparent. Also we will share a prayer request with the group by email if you will let us know. Prayer is powerful!

We pray that you each have a wonderful and productive school year. Thank God for the freedom to homeschool!

Serving Him!

Greg & Phyllis Chancellor
